Joe McCreary

I am originally from Windber, PA, about 65 east of Pittsburgh. I graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's of Science in Music Education in 1991. I started working for Carteret County Schools in August 1991 and spent my entire career at Beaufort Middle School.  I started my musical career in 5th grade when I started playing trumpet in elementary band. Band has afforded me many opportunities that could only have been experienced through band including marching half time shows at 3 NFL games and a trip to Paris, France, in 1989, to participate in the celebration of the Bicentennial of Bastille Day(the French Independence Day).  Outside of the classroom I am the music director at Ann Street United Methodist Church and an avid fan of football, soccer and hockey. I am married and have 3 children.

Jazz Band

Jazz Band will meet on Tuesday-Thursday from 7:15-7:35 am beginning Tuesday, September 17.
